White Summer Sangria

Sangria is great year-round, but it's especially delicious on a hot summer night. The fruit infuses into the drink making crisp and refreshing... not to mention good for you.

This light cocktail is a hit at summer parties and is also easy enough to make any night of the week. I suggest a double batch if friends are coming over, it goes quick!

White Summer Sangria
Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 10 min
Serves 4-6

Ingredients:
  • 1 chilled bottle of good white wine (We prefer Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 16 ounces sparkling water (or club soda)
  • 1 large green apple, cored and chopped into small pieces
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 nectarine, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar (or raw honey)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 4-6 fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Recipe:
Add all of the ingredients to a large pitcher. Chill for at least 15 minutes but up to 2 hours in the refrigerator. If storing longer than 2 hours, cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and use within 24 hours.

Garnish with fresh mint or citrus wedges.

Tips:
  • Try to avoid putting ice in your sangria so it's not watered down. Use chilled wine and fruit, and keep in the refrigerator until serving.
  • Add 6 oz of good vodka for an extra strong version :)
